MANILA, Philippines — Cloudy skies and rain showers are expected over Extreme Northern Luzon on Sunday due to the northeast monsoon, locally known as amihan, according to the state weather bureau.
In its morning forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said (Pagasa) amihan will particularly affect Batanes and Cagayan.
Article continues after this advertisementOn the other hand, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will also bring rain and thunderstorms over the eastern portion of Mindanao.
