Put into bat first, Sudurpaschim Royals scored 182/7 in their 20 overs with captain Dipendra Singh Ayree scoring a quick-fire half-century coming down the order. Ayree smashed 57 not out from just 24 balls to help Royals finish on a high. Scotland's Brandon McMullen was the second highest scoreer with 36 from 26. Uncapped left-arm spinner Anil Kharel picked three wickets for Biratnagar Kings.
Biratnagar's batting looked totally off-colour and could not compete well, getting bowled out for just 92. New Zealand pacer Scott Kuggleijn and local pacer Abhinash Bohara took three wickets each.
This became the second loss in two matches for Biratnagar Kings. For Sudurpaschim Royalsbetfil, it was their first win in the very first game.
