MANILA, Philippines — The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said that the Grand Procession of the Holy Rosary of La Naval de Manila, which was attended by thousands of devotees at the Sto Domingo Church in Quezon Avenue, concluded peacefully.
QCPD Acting Director Col. Melecio M. Buslig said that through the collaboration with various agencies, they maintained peace and order during the Sunday ceremony.
Article continues after this advertisement“The event concluded without any untoward incidents, with over 200,000 devotees participating,” the police district said in a statement on Monday.

Article continues after this advertisementDuring the ceremony, the QCPD said that its personnel, along with Quezon City’s Traffic and Transport Management Department and the Department of Public Order and Safety, implemented a traffic re-routing plan that began at 2 p.m., facilitating the smooth passage of the procession.
Article continues after this advertisementQuezon City Police also deployed extra patrol units to nearby communities and set up security checkpoints at critical entry and exit points to ensure public safety.
